PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: April 2026
Maybe Tomorrow is listed on the App Store as Today or Not Today. Same product, same account — this policy covers both.
Short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything, and your tasks are yours.
What we collect
To create an account we ask for your email address — that’s the only thing we need, and the only way to sign in. We email you a link and a 6-digit code; either one signs you in. There is no password to choose, and no Google, Apple, or other third-party sign-in.
We store the tasks you create — that's the whole product. We also collect basic usage data (error logs, page loads) so we can keep the app running and fix problems.
What we don't collect
No tracking pixels. No ad networks. No third-party analytics following you around the web. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone — ever.
Your tasks
Your tasks are stored securely and only accessible to you. Nobody at Maybe Tomorrow reads your task list.
One exception: the AI suggestion feature (powered by Claude, made by Anthropic) sends your task list to Anthropic's API to generate suggestions. Anthropic does not store your data or use it to train their models — this is covered by their API usage policy. If you don't use the AI feature, none of your tasks ever leave our database.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's the only cookie we set — no marketing cookies, no fingerprinting.
Data retention
Your data lives in our database for as long as your account exists. You can delete it yourself, at any time, without asking us: open the account menu and choose Delete account — it’s in the same menu on the web and in the iOS app. Deleting removes your tasks, revokes every session so you’re signed out everywhere, and discards any pending sign-in links. All that remains is an anonymous marker recording that an account with that id once existed and when it was deleted — no email address, no name, no task content.
